What is this program all about?
Anaïs Nin wrote in her diaries the role of women is “to reconstruct the world.” There is a lot of power in that statement, don’t you agree?
And there is of course a lot of power and inspiration found in the life of many women in our community, and that’s why we celebrate them with a program we call, The Reconstructionists.
Come listen to the life stories of three heroines: mothers, business owners, laborers. We’ll have lots of materials on hand, but you are encouraged to bring your own memorabilia of photos, stories, letters, for a scrapbook that we’re always creating of Badass Women in the community!
