Warm Cookies and Fashion Denver have challenged 7 top designers to imagine a new way of life in a world that may not be so far away. This thought-provoking fashion show will take you on a creative, imaginative, and necessary ride, showing how designers envision the future of our earth and how we’ll dress to survive.
Although the night revolves around the fashion show, come and enjoy the entire event: schmooze at the Eco-Fashion Mingler, meet the designers, learn what we can do NOW to beat back climate change, sketch your own dystopian fashions, and converse about the environmental issues we face and ways to address it as citizens.
We will briefly discuss the impacts of extreme climate change and the impacts it has on consumer behavior and will discuss the commercial farming industry, alternative energy, eating and gardening.
